Sweet Satisfaction at +Wondermilk Cafe

…And then, there were none.

Few desserts are as visually uplifting as cupcakes.  Just the sight of these little cakes with their generous swirls of frosting, and fanciful sprinkles, is enough to conjure up a smile.  What I especially love about cupcakes, is that they are crafted with the individual in mind. So many desserts are designed to be shared, but cupcakes are made for one.  There’s no expectation that we’re going halfsies on this treat  : )

The cupcakes at +Wondermilk Café are especially great because they are  smaller (and cuter) than normal cupcakes.  With so many appealing flavors to choose from, it’s actually a relief not to have to commit to just one.  And it’s no wonder that these treats are so deftly crafted, as the business itself was created by five graphic designers.  By using their combined sense for what’s trendy and infusing it with their own imaginative twists, the folks behind  +Wondermilk are spot on when it comes to providing their customers with exactly what they fancy.

Everyone should play by these rules.

The atmosphere at +Wondermilk capitalizes on the urban craft fair trend.  Illustrated art and quirky plants fill the space with an Etsy-loving-hipster meets urban-graphic-designer vibe.  The Café  also features an adorable play corner complete with wooden toys to keep young ones entertained. And, if by chance cupcakes aren’t your thing, +Wondermilk Café has plenty of other options to satisfy your hunger for something special.

This cake is almost too pretty to eat.
